Agartala, Sep 03, 2011 : A college girl- Ratanmala Debbarma (19) of Ramkrishna College, Kailasahar was found dead inside her rented room mysteriously at Kazirgaon under Kailasahar police station last night.
The first year student, hailing from Chailengta, was residing at the house of Sukomal Chanda with some of her college mates.
Police said, “Ratanmala had been shifted to RGM hospital by the fire tender and police officials while bleeding from mouth and nose”.
“The doctors declared her brought dead at around 11.30 pm”, informed an official.
“The house owner and the college mates found Ratanmala senseless when she was cooking”, Police added.
One of her roommate corroborated the police that Ratanmala was a tuberculosis patient. Police however, registered a case and started investigation apprehending assassination.
“It is apparently a case of unnatural death and the real reason can be officially confirmed only after post mortem examination”, said a police official.
