Agartala, Jul 07, 2011 : A salesman was stabbed by a distributor of the Britannia Company at 10 pm night on Wednesday in front West Agartala police station. Sushanta alias Raja Chowdhury of Dhaleshwar stabbed Biswajit Roy of Amtali over a business feud. Sushanta is a distributor of Britannia Company while Biswajit worked as a salesman of the company.
Victim’s friend Anshuman Kar filed an FIR with the West Agartala Police station on Thursday. Biswajit was admitted in GB Hospital.
“For some reasons victim’s relatives did not lodge the FIR. It was on Thursday that Anshuman informed the police about the incident”, said Manindra Debnath, OC West PS.
He added, Biswajit’s condition is stable and efforts are on to nab Sushanta.
