Agartala, Jul 25, 2011 : Defending champion Lalbahadur Vyamagar enter into final in the domestic Rakhal Memorial Knock-out football tournament this year also.
In the first Semifinal at the Dasahrath Dev Stadium, Badharghat, Lalbahadur defeated Nine Bullets Club by solitary goal here on Sunday last. Lal Siyam Thara scored the decider in the eighth minutes of second half from penalty. The penalty occurred when Bullets defender handled the ball inside the box. Trailing by 1-0 Bullets tried to level the score but they could not manage equate.
Earlier, in the barren first half of the big dual, two footballers from both teams Tulunga of Bullets and Jagannath Jamatia of Lalbahadur were sent off in 13th minutes by referee for violence. They were punching one another after a simple tackle in the middle of the ground. Then the two sides fought with ten players in the rest 77 minutes of play.
The final match will be held on July 28 next.
