Agartala, Aug 27, 2011 : ‘If the state government allots required funds the ADC administration would undertake recruitment for ADC schools soon’, said Radhacharan Debbarma, the Executive Member for Education department of TTAADC.
On the first day of the Monsoon session of the TTAADC on Friday, Debbarma informed the house that so far 227 senior basic schools so far run by School Education department of Tripura government were brought under the ADC administration. The Education department also transferred 819 teachers and 49 office workers to ADC.
Replying to another question by member Gurapada Debbarma, Chief Executive Member (CEM) Ranjit Debbarma said, during last two years about two lakh tourists visited at Khumulwng Tourist Park at ADC headquarters. And a total of Rs 6.53 lakh was collected as revenue.
CEM said the ADC administration had also undertaken several steps to improve the Khumulwng Park to make it a favored tourist destination.
Moreover, the ADC administration had already sent a project to the Union government for Rs 4.53 crore for up-gradation heritage Centre.
He said, ADC administration had taken several initiatives to improve surface communication systems, drinking water and health scenario of ADC areas.
