Agartala, Aug 25, 2011 : Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar will accompany Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh during his whirlwind official visit to Bangladesh starting on September 6 next.
Sarkar along with Chief Ministers of three northeastern states- Assam, Meghalaya and Mizoram and also West Bengal will fly for Dhaka from New Delhi on September 6.
Sarkar will leave the state for New Delhi on September 5 next.
This high profile visit is expected to finalize several issues including border fencing, Chittagong Port, river Feni stalemate, border-market, power transmission, Agartala-Akhaura rail link, Ashuganj river port and combating trans-border militancy et al.
Dr Singh is slated to return to New Delhi on September 7 next.
